Thank you all for your fervent prayers on our behalf. Since sending out the update requesting prayer for rain, we have had 3 rain showers and enough wind to greatly clear up the air in and around Vanavara. It has been great to be able to again enjoy the fresh air and for the kids to play outdoors. While we are still very dry and in need of more rain, the Lord has definitely answered prayers to clear up the air and drive away the smoke.

Please continue to pray for rain and clean air as the fires are still burning out in the taiga and the smoke could easily shift back towards the major population centers again. Also, please pray for the strength and safety of the men who are being flown in and out of Vanavara, on their way to the fight the many fires in the area.
